Remember, prevention is better than cure, so there are a few steps you can take to ensure that your new Leonis carpet keeps looking its best for as long as possible.

Place mats in front of the house door to trap the dirt. This will stop outside dirt from getting onto your carpet. Also bear in mind that a dark carpet won’t show dirt and stains as much as a light carpet will.

Vacuum regularly

To preserve your carpet’s beauty and appearance for a long time, we recommend that you vacuum the whole carpet area at least twice a week. We recommend a vacuum cleaner with rotating soft brushes (although not advised for high pile shaggy carpet). These vacuum cleaners are a little more expensive, but far more effective and are the only way of removing deep-down dirt.

All Leonis carpets are made from StainSafe® polypropylene fibre so are protected against most common household spills. That said, you should always try and clean up your spill as soon as possible to prevent permanent staining. Do not allow stains to dry in, but remove them immediately with a clean kitchen cloth. Solid elements can be removed with a spoon.

Remember, your Leonis carpet can be cleaned with a diluted bleach solution, helping you to rid your carpet of the most stubborn stains. The solution must use a mixture of 10% bleach to 90% tap water. A stronger solution than this mix ratio may cause permanent damage.
